About the Schema Markup Validator

Structured data (schema markup) tells search engines exactly what a page is about — a product with a price, a recipe, an article, an FAQ, a local business. It's what makes stars, prices and other rich results appear in Google, and it helps AI engines understand your content.

Valid markup makes a page eligible, not guaranteed. Google also needs to trust the site and the content must match the markup.
